Management and Governance
The successful management models established under the Research and Enterprise Partnership have been extended to address the full breadth of the Strategic Alliance. The Universities have made a commitment to work together to expand the interactions and build a relationship of mutual benefit, which builds a collective strength whilst respecting individual identity. Under the Strategic Alliance Agreement signed by the two institutions the Universities have committed to the management structure as in the figure below. The management model adapted is intentionally scalable and as initiatives grow beyond the initial activities this structure will allow coherence and communication across strands effectively.
The Strategic Alliance Office provides a secretariat to the senior groups to enable and facilitate interactions going forward under the Strategic Alliance.
